Process
His works are photographs of the result of processes of intervention, ageing,
assemblage, collage, sculpture, and mark making akin to Matterism.
As photographs, a transient point of the materials in time can be fixed.
Found objects are collected and used as base material to create new form.
Context is altered, essence remains. Time and entropy are observed. With
this new space and transcendent form an alternative way to perceive matter
and its relationship to existence appears.
With few exceptions, all his pieces are made using large format film and
darkroom processes to produce prints which he then hand retouches in very
limited editions.
